Sea Bird 37

Status: under investigation

A long-keeled 37-foot cruiser with centre-cockpit and aft-cockpit versions, rigged as a ketch or a sloop. It was designed by Vancouver designer Stan Huntingford with Hardin and first built by Cooper Enterprises in Canada. Builder databases also list Hardin International as a builder. Variant: the Sea Bird 37 MS motorsailer (Cooper, new pilothouse deck by Forbes Cooper, masthead sloop, 560 sq ft, Perkins 50 hp, 100/100 gal tanks) [SBD-SB37MS]. We have not seen documents that show how many Sea Bird 37s, if any, came from Kaohsiung.
